Re: Chevron Credit Card Processing
To Our Valued Customers,
We would like to be the first to disseminate the information that, until further notice, we and other aviation FBOs temporarily cannot accept for the purposes of payment new generation Chevron credit cards. The Chevron credit card unit of business has been sold to a third-party operator, and our ability to process the new generation card is predicated upon their providing us with the appropriate means to process these cards. Last generation Chevron cards are not affected by this notice!
How can I tell whether my Chevron credit card is acceptable for use at Rabbit Aviation?
The easiest way to distinguish between accepted and non-accepted Chevron credit cards is by examining the numbers on the physical credit card. ACCEPTED credit cards have account numbers 15 digits in length and are spaced as shown in this example: 778 306 290 95 0006. NON-ACCEPTED credit cards have 16 digits in the account number and are spaced as shown in this example: 7067 4258 2550 0001. In short, if you have successfully used your Chevron credit card at Rabbit before, you are not affected by this notice.
